WHY THE CONTEST?

All of us are grandchildren. When we start thinking about our grandparents, what comes to mind is likely to be quite different for each of us.

WHAT YOU SHOULD DO

Share your stories and memories with us by writing, or producing a short film/video and stand to win a trip for two to Tokyo!

Send a written entry (in 500 words or less) WITH a photograph of your grandparent, or a short film/video (min. 30sec, max. 5min) to 75557@stomp.com.sg.

Include your name, age, NRIC number, contact number, address/email address, and name of school (where applicable) in your submission.

You have to begin your entry with Dear Grandpa/ Grandma.

Three Categories:
(i) Primary Schools
(ii) Secondary Schools
(iii) Open – for students beyond Secondary Schools and adults

Two Ways to Express Yourself:
(i) Writing (maximum 500 words, individual submission only)
(ii) Film/Video (between 30sec to 5min, individual or group submission)

CLOSING DATE FOR SUBMISSION OF ENTRIES:
31 AUGUST 2008

WHAT THE PRIZES ARE

SIX TOUR packages for two* to Tokyo from SA Tours to be won!
Six winners – one written entry and one film/video entry from each of the three categories – will be determined by judges convened by NLB.

*These packages are inclusive of fuel surcharges and taxes for two persons up to $1,600 in total. Conditions apply.

SPECIAL EDITION BOOKS

NLB will select 20 written entries from each category to be published into special edition books.
