Muhd Zaki was at City Hall on October 9 with his colleague, at about 10.50 am when he saw this man spinning around and around. He guesses that the man must have been inspired by Kylie Minogue's hit song "Spinning Around".

Derek Yap was shopping at Daiso, the $2 dollar shop, in IMM on 9 October when a blackout occurred. The shop was cleared in under half an hour, thanks to the alert staff at Daiso. The 36-year old technical inspector was impressed by the calm and orderly manner that shoppers were guided out of the shop by its staff, who kept the situation well under control.

Mike Muk sent STOMP this clip of children playing with fire in front of Block 293 Yishun Ring Road on 2 October. He says his CC organised the lantern festival celebrations the previous weekend, but had failed to notice these children doing all these "right under the noses of the MPs and committee members."

An elderly man (seen in blue polo shirt) chased then detained a younger man some 70m from the elderly man's fruit stall. Mr Mike Muk whipped out his digital camera and sent in this video to STOMP. It turns out that the suspect was with two others who are believed to have stolen $200 from the fruit stall.

Lee Mei Choo, 32, a Sales Assistant certainly thinks so. She took this picture of a mattress being hung out to dry on a parapet in Bishan. The mattress had been anchored by two plastic chairs on a windy day.

Andrew Ng sent us this clip shot on the Causeway last Sunday, Sep 17. The driver of this silver Mitsubishi Space Wagon (SFD1414R) was flashing his middle finger as he drove past, to drivers who apparently did not give way to him earlier. "I watched unbelievably as he seemed to enjoy doing it," said Andrew. "As I drove past him, I was shown the middle finger too." One of Andrew's passengers took out his camera and caught this footage.

MadScientist sent STOMP this clip taken on 31 August at about 5:30 pm of a flooded Clementi Road- Jalan Anak Bukit Flyover. He says that the flooding occurs whenever there is a heavy downpour.

Chris was on his way home after work Monday (Sept 4) when he took this video of a woman catching 40 winks on SBS Transit Bus No. 57. The ‘sleeping beauty’ had made herself comfortable by propping both legs up on the whole seat, depriving fellow passengers of the empty seat next to her. Chris is annoyed at such selfish behaviour and sent us this clip to remind us to be more considerate towards others.

Stomper Mike Muk sent us these scenes at both the Ang Mo Kio and Yishun station. STOMP contacted SMRT and found out that the second train was called in to move the train that broke down onto a service track as part of a recovery procedure known as 'coupling'. The North-South train services were disrupted yesterday evening (Sep 8) at 6.50pm between the Bishan and Ang Mo Kio stations. Services resumed at 7.10pm.

14-year-old Elizabeth Nair sent us this mms taken at the National Library. She was selecting a few books to borrow when she saw that some were 'on fire'. It turned out it was all part of the Arts Biennale that's on right now, and that images of fire were projected onto selected books. Elizabeth thought it was cool of the Library to have such an exhibition.

Mike Muk, 41, chanced upon this gathering of three girls eating and smoking at a playground slide in Yishun Street 81 on Saturday (Aug 19). Mike is irked by the fact that the girls were obstructing the way and smoking in the presence of young children at the playground. "Where are their brains?" He wonders.

Mike Muk sent in this video of young boys scaling the blocks of Yishun Ring Road in an extremely dangerous game of catching. "Aren't there enough playgrounds in Singapore?" Mr Muk asks.

Don't miss this dramatic clip of a car scratcher caught in the act. This video was shot by private investigator Dennis Lee of Covert Acquisition, who was hired by a group of residents in Eastwood Road. It shows their neighbour scratching an SUV in the early morning of Feb 16. Based on the tape, the man will be charged in court today (Aug 8) with one count of causing mischief.

Edith Tan is clear about one thing - if bus operators are going to raise fares, she expects better. She sent us this mms clip taken on Wed (2 Aug) and the title's in her own words. This is what Edith said: " It was raining and I was on the upper deck front row seat. Whenever the bus braked, the forward-jerking created a tsunami along with the litter on the bus... doesn't the bus company carry out routine checks on its bus fleet?" Edith has got a point, but STOMP figures litter-bug passengers are just as much to blame.

Have you had this experience as well? Mike Muk sent STOMP a video of a pizza deliveryman riding his motorcycle on the pedestrian pavement in front of Block 236 Yishun Ring Road. He says this is a daily occurrence and that they are endangering the safety of pedestrians.

59-year-old Peter Yu is fed-up with this constant sight of bicycles parking at the bus-stop outside Sembawang MRT. He says there's often just no space to sit at all. There's a proper parking area for the bicycles, but the cyclists obviously prefer this more convenient one which is just a hop away from the station.

Chan Mun Chung sent us this clip of a blaze at Block 484, Pasir Ris Drive 4. The fire started around 5pm and was put out by SCDF twenty minutes later. No one was injured. The SCDF received a call about the blaze at 5.15 pm. They arrived in four minutes and put out the fire within 15 minutes with two 38mm jets. According to the SCDF duty officer, no one was in the apartment at the time and the firefighters had to break into the flat to extinguish the blaze in the bedroom. The SCDF is still investigating the cause of the fire.

Police received a call at 9am about a snake in Pavilion Circle in Bukit Batok. It took four officers to catch the 3m long snake, believed to be a python. The snake has been sent to the zoo. Sham Kit Kiong caught the action with his digital camera.

Tan Sze Liang caught the drama on video. He was looking out of his kitchen window at 8 this morning when he saw these heros save a life.
A factory manufacturing and storing offerings such as incense and joss sticks in Loyang Way caught fire on 15 July at around 12.30 am. Mr Wellington Lee, who happened to be in the area caught this on video.
On 11 July at 2.45pm, 37-year-old Sim Khoon Chuan alerted STOMP to activity at the contruction site at Toa Payoh Lorong 8, near Block 226. The Army Bomb Disposal specialists worked into the night.
