Stompers irked by StarHub network disruptions

StarHub customers have been facing numerous broadband problems for the past few days, and customers are not satisfied with the way StarHub has handled the situation.

Facebook updates from StarHub have shown that their broadband was down numerous times over the past week.

Angry customers have took to the comment section on their posts to complain about the lack of a permanent solution.

Facebook user Lee Kok Hwee said: "How many times must the network be down? It's twice within two days. When it comes to paying bill, their system never fails."

Many have also contacted Stomp, with user Ken emailing us that the Internet was down yesterday (Oct 24) at 10pm. He was calling the customer service hotline for nearly 30 minutes without an answer.

Stomper Roland refuted this and said "No subscribers wre able to call 1633 (their hotline number) successfully" on Oct 22.

Another Stomper also said: "I am affected badly as I require the network to work and Skype with my overseas counterparts. This is absurd. In this week they have been down for 2 days straight."

Customers also complained about the lack of compensation when their network was disrupted.
