SMRT bus beats red light at Upper Boon Keng Road traffic junction -- while man and child are crossing

An SMRT bus driver was seen beating the red light at a traffic junction at Upper Boon Keng Road at 11.30am on July 11, while a man and child were crossing the road.

A clip of the incident was posted on Beh Chia Lor - Singapore Road and credited to Fadli Junaidi.

A man can be seen going across the crossing on a motorised skate-scooter with a child.

However, an SMRT bus speeds past the crossing without stopping for the red light.

The pedestrian is forced to stop to avoid being run over by the bus.
