Orange glow at Seletar Airport reminds Bedok resident of 'Lord of the Rings'

An orange glow was spotted near Seletar Airport this morning (Aug 23) at around 6.15am.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said that they received no reports of a fire.

Roslan told Stomp via WhatsApp:

"Just saw a very distant orange glow from Block 528, Bedok North Street 3, eighth storey..

"The place is at Seletar Airport and reminds me of a movie named Lord of the Rings.

"I have a friend who happened to drop off a passenger there but he doesn't know what caused it."

Jeffrey said he also came across the unusual sight from afar,
