Cabby takes shortcut from Jln Sayang to Jln Kembangan -- by going against traffic

These days, as ‘breaking away from the norm’ seems like a pretty bold move to make, one taxi in particular has decided to take it up a notch by going against traffic flow.

The video is uploaded on Beh Chia Lor - Singapore Road’s Facebook page and credited to George Yeo.

According to a caption of the video, the incident took place along Sims Avenue East on Sep 12 at around 12pm.

In the video, the driver who recorded the footage was first seen driving down the middle lane of a three-lane road.

After he drove across a traffic junction and entered the next middle lane, a SMRT cab identified as SHB5759G was spotted traveling in the opposite direction of traffic flow.

Because of the sudden disruption of traffic, the driver who took a video of the incident had to slow down to avoid colliding with the taxi.
