Staircase at Ang Mo Kio leads to nowhere

A staircase usually leads to a higher ground but there is this staircase near Mayflower Secondary School at Ang Mo Kio which literally goes nowhere. 

Beryl posted a picture on Twitter of the 'staircase to heaven' and her post has been shared more than 3,708 times.

Stomp contacted Beryl via Twitter and she said, "I took the photo on Sun (Peb 13) at around 1pm."

It was even featured on Trendsmap.

According to Beryl, a new bridge was constructed nearer to the bus stop while the staircase in the photo is part of an old bridge which used to be there.
