Thousands of tourists cram onto world's longest and highest glass-bottomed bridge in China

The world's longest and highest glass-bottomed bridge finally. opened in Zhangjiajie, China this past weekend.

Nearly a year behind schedule, tourists were extremely excited and flocked to the new attraction, reports Shanghaiist.

Since opening, 8,000 tourists have crossed the bridge evvery day reassured by stress tests administered using SUVs and sledgehammers.

The 430-meter-long bridge offers amazing views from its vantage point 300 meters above the canyon floor.

It definitely is not for the faint of heart who suffer from vertigo or fear of crowds.
