Mum's thank you note to her ex's new girlfriend is going viral

It's not everyday you see a divorcee being accepting of their spouse's new love interest.

And you definitely do not see them being so accepting of one another on social media so openly too.

"Love more hate less," that's how divorced mom Audrey Nicole rolls.

Instead of being bitter whenever her daughter, Riley Grace, visits her dad, Audrey is extremely grateful for the "other woman" in her life, as she takes care of Riley like her own daughter.

And here's what Audrey did to express her gratitude to her ex's girlfriend for taking care of Riley: She wrote a beautiful thank you note and posted it on the Love What Matters Facebook page on Tuesday (Nov 15), reported Bored Panda. The post has since garnered over 70k likes and 8.9k shares.

Here's what the post read:

"This is my daughters fathers girlfriend. The sweetest thing ever! I'm super thankful for her because when she visits her dad she feeds her, takes care of her, buys her gifts, and basically takes care of her like her own. Why do all these moms act so spiteful and jealous towards the other women? NOONE said it was easy trying to be a mother to a kid you didn't have. So when there is someone trying, don't push them away! Because they DON'T need the drama they WILL leave and then you're stuck with someone who is the evil step mom. Yes they exist! I see them everywhere! A kid can have two moms because in my eyes the more people that love her I'm happy! I would never make her feel like an outsider; I'm extremely thankful for this girl. Ladies, grow up and focus on being a good mom. Love more hate less!"

And netizens even commented on the heartwarming post, some sharing their own experiences as well.

Said one netizen:

"The first sentence got me so confused for a second. It's amazing to see humans come together for this beautiful child and put her as the number one priority."

Said another:

"My mum took my step-mum out to lunch when she and my dad were getting serious. They really hit it off and became friends. I even went on vacation with my mum, dad, and step-mum. When my dad and stepmum got divorced, she and my mum stayed friends. It really did make life easier for us kids."
