Apple released a $300 book that's just photos of Apple products

Know an Apple fanatic?  Christmas's around the corner, and Apple has released the perfect gift for fans, a $300 book that is filled with just photos of their products.

The Apple Newsroom announced that Designed by Apple in California will be released on November 16, reported Distractify.

Photographed by Andrew Zuckerman, all the photos in the book are brand new, and are meant to show off the various Apple products from the past 20 years. Apple also hopes this book will inspire the up and coming design students to create even more beautiful products in the near future.

Apple's Chief Designer Jony Ive's foreword for the book is...interesting. To say the least.

While this is a design book, it is not about the design team, the creative process, or product development. It is an objective representation of our work that, ironically, describes who we are. It describes how we work, our values, our preoccupations, and our goals. We have always hoped to be defined by what we do rather than by what we say.

We strive, with varying degrees of success, to define objects that appear effortless. Objects that appear so simple, coherent, and inevitable that there could be no rational alternative.

Okay, we get it.

And much like the latest iPhones, there's a smaller version of the book that retails for only $200!

Apple's latest product is undoubtedly beautiful, but the price sure is a little steep for a picture book...

What do you think? Would you get this book?
