Mr Ang Chee Siong, 35 saw three used syringes the void deck of Block 249 Bukit Panjang, Bangkit rd. He said it had been thrown by residents and wondered 'how they could be disposed of in such a way? Imagine innocent kids picking them up.
Mubaraq Ishak sent STOMP this picture of a curry puff store with a POSB sign overhead at Jurong Point shopping mall. Shoppers would be forgiven if they thought that this was a new product launched by the bank.
Mr Toh, a 30 year old delivery driver, sent us this MMS of an illegal sale transaction of diesel at Tagore Drive. According to Mr Toh, lorries from the factories in the area have been buying diesel from the lady in the picture for about a year. He said she would be in the area 3 or 4 times to "pump diesel in the lorries". The diesel transactions take place along a road near Upper Thomson Rd.
Emilyn Ang was amused by the sight of these tourists from Puerto Rico being surprised by Ronald McDonald and mini national flags at Changi Airport on our nation's birthday.
Philip Tan sent us these pictures of two cars parked illegally at Boon Keng Road. The message: "Nice parking but illegal, no?"
Kang Jun, 26, witnessed this accident involving a cyclist on 8 August. A car knocked down a cyclist along Kian Teck
Road towards Upper Jurong Road. His message to cyclists out there? "There are many cyclists travelling to their
workplaces using the road. They do so dangerously across roads without showing any concern for their own safety. Accidents can be
prevented!"
Mr Gui Boon Sim sent in the first MMS to STOMP. He emailed us and said the accident happened at about 7:15 am at the waiting bay near Lakeside MRT station. At least 3 ambulances and a civil defence van were called to fetch the workers to the hospital. The gates of the buses had to be forced open to evacuate workers who were trapped in the buses.
Lester Chua, 33, was at the Lakeside accident scene on 10 August in the morning and sent us this MMS. He said 'some (casualties) were moved into (a) minivan to be sent for treatment.' Two out of three lanes were closed.
Another eyewitness, Mr Chin Koon Seng, also sent us a picture of the accident.
What better way to celebrate N-Day than to indulge in one of Singaporeans' greatest passions - queuing up for goodie bags! Carol Tang responded to Carrefour's call for birthday cards to the nation for a "celebratory display". The first 500 were promised a goodie bag each. When the 27-year-old customer service officer arrived at the Plaza Singapura store at 6am today (Aug 9) - two hours before the store was to open - she was shocked to find more than 100 people already in the queue.
Ms Tang's goodie bag, given to her at around 8 am, included a World Cup 2006 polo tee, a round-neck tee, some keychains, stationery items and bags of tidbits. Was it worth the wait? Ms Tang, who was there with her friends, says it's all for the fun of it.

It's been over a week of early morning showers and they've taken their toll on some trees here. This morning's (8 Aug) rain led to more being uprooted and Stompers sent in these mmses. 27-year-old sales assistant, Steven Lim was on his way to work when he saw this tree along Queen Street.
Another STOMPer sent this picture at 6.44am. The message : "Big tree collapsed at Toa Payoh Lorong 4, Block 181."
This train from Alstom, France arrived just last night (6 Aug) and is now lying in the Port of Singapore Authority's Pasir Panjang Terminal. The train will be used for the Circle Line. It's got a distinctive look with glass front and back-ends so commuters can see through them.
Loo Peng Lin found this motorcyclist sitting on his handlebar of his
moving vehicle! His legs were dangling over his front head lights.
Peng Lin took this shot on the CTE heading towards AMK Ave 1 last Saturday (5 Aug) at around 8.45pm.
This mms came on in Sat (5 Aug) at about 9.30pm when the Fireworks Festival was going on. The message accompanying the mms says its all:
"Inconsiderate citizens who chose to park their cars in a bus-stop just so they can watch the fireworks near marina bay."
A Mr Ng sent this this pictures, also taken at the Esplanade Drive Bridge on the night of 5 Aug during the Fireworks display.

...a Taxi driver with "On Call" sign displayed at windscreen, but he was busy taking photos of the fireworks. (Why cant taxi driver display "Off Duty" sign instead of "On Call" if he had no intention of picking up passengers?.
At the beginning he was told by a Police officer to remove his vehicle as he could not stopped there, but he refused to move.
This shows " a guy risking his life by walking to the middle of the road to take the fireworks video.
Although most of the vehicles had stopped for the time being, some were still moving as theroad was not closed to for vehicles."
Philip Ying, 57, sent this picture that's taken just outside the living room window of his friend's flat in Aljunied Crescent. It seems bits of tissue paper, water bottles and even leftover food have been thrown out of the windows by some inconsiderate neighbours in one of the flats on the higher floors. Philip says his friend has complained to the Marine Parade Town Council several times.
