Cd- Collector, Melissa Kok.
I think my very first CD was probably Kriss Kross's or Tiffany's debut back when I was 11 years old, but I guess I started really colelcting CDs when I was around 14.
I used to save up pocket money, bug my mom to buy me CDs every week, and when I was working at Tower Records and Borders, I used to blow all my pay on CDs!
Since then, I think I've amassed nearly 1000 CDs. No specific genres - my collection covers everything from jazz, indie, emo, punk, hardcore, screamcore, rock, electronica, post-rock etc.
Friends ask me what's the point in getting CDs especially now that there are iTunes/Mp3 playes, but I think the Compact Disc is still the best format.. When your harddrive or Mp3 player crashes, at least you can depend on your CDs for backup!
