What: Peter Hook (New Order, UK)
Where: Zouk
The pioneering sounds of the influential English bands Joy Division and New Order were marked both by the vocals of the late Ian Curtis, and by the sinister, throbbing bass of guitarist Peter Hook. Back in the 1970s, Hook's bass instilled the importance of rhythm in punk rock, helping to inspire a generation of dance-oriented new wave bands. Since 2002, however, Hook has been marching to a beat of a different drum – as a DJ. With over two decades of quality music firmly tucked into his record box, he often heads for a mash-up of tracks that range from present favourites to The Hacienda / Manchester revolution, New Order classics and exclusive remixes. And when one of the pioneers of dance music offers their own personal insight into the music which defined a generation, you quite simply have to sit up and take notice.

What: Gabriel Chong
Where: Attica
Gabriel's involvement in the global dance music scene has helped put Malaysia on the map. With foresight, diligence and an unwavering passion, he broke house music to Malaysians more than 10 years ago as a DJ and promoter, catalyzing the country's emergence as a crucial stop on the international club circuit. Today, Gabriel's experience as a world-class DJ spans Asia, North America and Europe , having shared the decks with Carl Cox, Roger Sanchez, Sasha and others at home and abroad.
What: Sander Van Doorn (The Netherlands)
Where: Zouk
Everybody wants a piece of Van Doorn, thanks to him being the new trance kid on the block and to his phenomenal rise to success. In 2006 alone, Sander made three appearances on BBC Radio 1, including an essential mix and a live set from Ibiza. His cheeky remix of the Arctic Monkey’s smash hit “When The Sun Goes Down” was one of the year’s big room tunes. He crashed into the DJ Mag Top 100 as a new entry at #32, and rose 129 places to #7 in the all important Trance Addict DJ Chart. He compiled and mixed the Dance Valley compilation, and to round off the year, produced a cover-mount CD for Mixmag. Add to that a hectic touring schedule and you get a superstar in the making.

What: Dimitri from Paris (France)
Where: Velvet Underground
As the French Ambassador of house music, Dimitri from Paris is everything his nation could be proud of: a DJ, producer, and remixer of the highest standard, not to mention a stylish snake-hipped pin-up with French reserve. On one hand an undeniable dandy and a devoted dance music fanatic, Dimitri remains one of clublands most empathic DJs selecting tracks that move your mind as well as your body. His debut, Sacrebleu (1997), made Mixmag’s top ten albums of the year, and follow-ups such as A Night At The Playboy Mansion have earned him a reputation for classic, groove-ridden sounds, an eclectic mix of funk, and a healthy dose of classic disco.
