Why do handsome/beautiful people are always in advantage in life? For example, in love life. Is it really true as well?

Firstly, what is beauty? We need to bear in mind that beauty is very subjective and each has his/her own views and perception. Though beautiful people may have advantages over unattractive counterparts, it does not mean we should give opportunities to a person by his/her level of attractiveness.

Should massage/beauty parlours that offer 'special' services exist in older shopping centres and void decks?
How is the anti-vice department dealing with the recent parlours that have emerged in our neighbourhoods?
Will Singapore have a low crime rate with these massage parlours around?
