What are the ways of DIY-teeth whitening?
Is there a home remedy for making my teeth whiter?

There are various teeth-whitening kits which can be bought from pharmacies. There are also teeth-whitening mouth rinses and toothpaste which are sold in supermarkets.

Many of the home remedies which I found warned that there is the risk of abrasion that will affect the enamel thus weakening the teeth. Or the acid would interact with the teeth and weaken it. Do note that the 2 methods listed below have not been tried and tested.
1) Try rubbing a ripe banana peel on your teeth every day. Use the inside of a banana peel to massage your teeth for at least two minutes before brushing. You should see a stunning improvement in your smile in as little as two weeks.
2) Eat plenty of strawberries. Strawberries contain malic acid, a natural bleaching agent that may be just as effective as name brand teeth-whiteners. You may want to mash a strawberry and apply it directly to your teeth to brighten your smile gently and effectively.
Make sure to brush your teeth with regular toothpaste right afterwards. Strawberries contain lots of sugar, which is responsible for tooth decay, and if the malic acid from the strawberries is left on your teeth, it will eat away at the enamel.
3) Prevention of further colour change may be a good option.
With age, the enamel on teeth becomes thinner and more transparent, and the inner layer, called dentin, looks darker. Teeth also absorb coloured liquids throughout your life, says Jeff Golub-Evans, D.D.S., a cosmetic dentist in New York City. Coffee, tea, cola, and red wine are frequent culprits, along with more tenacious tobacco stains.
4) Toothbrushes also brighten teeth a shade or two at most.
A toothbrush featuring an oscillating motion will give you better results than a manual toothbrush, says Robert Gerlach, D.D.S., a research fellow at P&G and developer of the original Crest Whitestrips. But you have to brush for the recommended two minutes
5) Eat crunchy fruits and vegetables.
Choose crunchy fruits and veggies, such as apple slices, carrots, and celery sticks. They actually help clean your teeth while you munch, explains cosmetic dentist
